“That’s why I said you were beautiful. I got to see you the way no one else ever has.”
I really enjoyed this book. As a lover of K-pop music, of course the title caught my attention right away. The story was longer than what I'm used to reading and I admit I did take my time reading it. I really liked the characters- Julee and the idols. I loved seeing her relationship with them. Oftentimes it made me smile. The story also had some suspenseful and dangerous moments. I liked seeing the Korean culture in this book. And of course fascinated by the lives of idols and what it would be like for an idol being in a secret relationship. I was fascinated by it and couldn't wait to see Joon and Julee get their happy ending. I'm looking forward to book two. 4 stars.

This is a really good read. Story line is fun, fantasy filled for any kpop lover. What I enjoyed from this author is that this is a well written book, meaning I didn't see but maybe one typo so far, no spelling errors and I am 3/4 through reading the book. Thank you Anne Darcy. Can't wait for more of Blaze.

5.0 out of 5 stars! K-POP GIRL FTW!

I got this out of pure curiosity. A lot of Asian-American romance has been popping up and though I still know next to nothing about the Asian cultures, I can safely say I'm enjoying it.
The K-Pop Girl series follows Julee, an American-korean translator who has recently moved to Korea to he closer to her father's roots after his death an now finds herself working as a translator for one of the biggest K-Pop groups worldwide - and who she is a fan of.
Julee is more than just a translator or someone who speaks six languages - she is a dancer as well - something the idols quickly learn. And that sets the stage for her adventure and her romance.
I have to say that these romances are very refreshing because they could easily be a Disney movie - in the best sense. They are dreamy, and funny,, and full of good feelings, and friendships and laughs. They are almost innocent in a way.
I couldn't help falling in love with Julee and her story, the seven idols and almost every other character in the book. And it was nice to learn a bit more about the culture as well.
I can't help but want more - 7 or 8 more love stories just to start!
